I love Reece’s Peanut Butter Cups. I never quite figured out how that get that delicious peanut butter goodness so perfectly in the middle of a delicious shell of chocolate.

Lindt Chili Chocolate
If you’re anything like me, you use sriracha on everything because no dish ever seems to be spicy enough.
Also, you probably are addicted to the Today Show and really torn up this week because after a year of trying really hard but still tanking the show’s ratings, Ann Curry’s tearful farewell speech on Wednesday (while Matt Lauer sat there on the couch like a smug jackhole looked on with compassion) ripped at your heartstrings and made you kind of depressed for three days. No? Not you?
Ok, then maybe you’re not exactly like me. Perhaps our similarities begin and end with our affinity for spicy food.
So, back to that topic. As much I love “the rooster,” I implore you — don’t limit your spice intake to condiments. Think outside the bottle and get a spicy kick in your chocolate well. Dark chocolate has lots of health benefits, or so say those people that want an excuse to eat it everyday (me) and chili pepper, of course, speeds up your metabolism. Basically, your body probably burns off the calories in this treat simply via the process of digestion. I mean, I’d like to think so.
Ann Curry was not my favorite morning show host by a long shot, but you can tell she is a nice person, and I really feel for her. If I could, I’d give her a hug, and a bar of chili chocolate. And then we could spend the afternoon sticking pins in her Matt Lauer voodoo doll.
